The Shri Maha Kali Ammaa Mandir Hindu Association is the first of its kind in Canada. Founded in 2001 by Pujarie Dudnaught Singh, a committed and dedicated student of Pujarie Basdeo Mangal, this cherished home of Mother Kali is an Ontario recognized charitable and a federally recognized non-profit organization. The Shri Maha Kali Ammaa Mandir Hindu Association was established to serve as a house of worship to develop a closer understanding of God and the Hindu culture and religion through the deepening of the spiritual life among its members and devotees. The main objective of the Shri Maha Kali Ammaa Mandir Hindu Association is to promote a culture and religion to the community members by creating a tangible spiritual atmosphere through worship, rituals, singing, chanting, reading of the scriptures and spiritual discussions.
